Did the terms of use for SI state they might do that? I'm also curious what the fine print on brokerage accounts typically state, do they hand your trading data to the SEC on a whim as well?

Your broker's fine print or S.I.'s fine print is irrelevant in this matter. If the SEC wants information about you it issues a subpoena and gets it. Sadly we have allowed our basic constitutional rights to be extinguished by big government. I doubt even Trump can save us.

Why don't you read S.I. terms of use and get back to me on it. I'm curious what they say

.Note made a quick scan of S.I.s TOU made no mention of them having to freely give your information to government busy bodies; but they do operate under the laws of the United States which does allow cretinous scumbag bureaucrats to get your info.

Cheers
