james, you need to look at this picture again...intc spent 4.5bil in 97 and that is 20% of revenues, which is a healthy amount...now they are looking in 98 to spend 5.4 which means they need to increase revenues by 50billion or in a flat year it means they will be spending at least 25% of revenues. where do you see the silver lining here?
where is the increase in revenues coming from in 98.
