The Isles beat the Caps three out of five in the season series. All wins were in regulation with a 3-0 win in DC. I was at the two wins in Brooklyn and the Isles thoroughly outplayed the Caps and won easily.
Bottom line: Isles play Caps very well.

The Maple Leafs are one of the biggest storied choke franchises of late. Isles are only 3 points out with 2 games to play and they will have tie breaker (ROW) against Toronto. It can happen. That hockey team is choke city.
Glad to see you now possess a soft side for the Isles and Brooklyn. Or maybe you dislike Toronto more?

Isles are a very Jeckyl and Hyde team and no one around here can figure them out. They sometimes play great when you expect them to rollover and they lay down and get whipped when you expect them to win.
The team has a lot of love for Tavaras so they tighten up their game and play well when he is out. When Tavaras is in the line up, they play a go go upbeat type of game and get caught defensively.
Isles have 5 forwards injured and are playing a defenseman (Hickey) on a forward line. He scored OT winner on Tuesday.
