Isles are 3-2 against Washington; 2-2 against Pittsburgh; 3-1 against Rags and 1-2-1 against Columbus; 2-1 against Montreal, Toronto, Boston.

The problem has been the weaker teams.

Florida: 1-2

Carolina: 2-3

Phili: 1-1-2

Arizona: 1-0-1

Colorado: 1-0-1

Detroit: 1-2

Moreover, Isles had a big goaltending fiasco. They carried 3 goalies and Halak flipped out saying he wasn't getting enough practice time to be sharp. His agent was flipping out too. Isles GM, Snow, who is as strange as they come, responded by sending Halak to minors (AHL) for 3 months. The kid they were hot on, Berube (French Canadian) played terribly. So, they overplayed Greiss, who got burnt out. They called Halak back up a couple of weeks ago and he has been lights out, playing every game now. No one wanted Halak because of his contract. He has one year left at 4.5M.

Isles have been in a circus atmosphere since beginning of season. Barclay's and Isles don't get along. They both want each other out. Opt out clause takes effect after next season for Isles and in 2 seasons for Barclay's. Owner's are actively looking for another arena to play in. (Owners are from NY so there is no way they go to Quebec City). Wilpons (owners of Mets) are part owners of Isles and the Governor (Cuomo) wants Isles to stay in NYC area. Possible arena built by Citifield in Queens or Belmont Race Track on Queens/Nassau Border. Majority of fan base is still from Long Island.
