The only places that count to look at this issue is those counties that flipped from supporting Obama to supporting Trump. If you just count every place that votes republican - which is most States and localities - then almost the entire country is racist and you might as well just accept that fact and get on with life. .........BUT if you look at just those places that supported Obama and then went Trump that might give a more nuanced and cleaner picture as to why Trump was elected. To think that all those counties suddenly flipped from voting for a black man and four years later are now all racist is just not honest thinking to me. ..........

I think I have a clearer picture than most because I live in one of those counties. If my county is racist, it is because they have lost jobs to people moving here from Guatemala and Mexico. ...........Is that being racist or is it an economic issue?
