Hi Scott,
I agree about the arguing; on the other thread it got to be too divisive and it was obvious that nobody was actually considering the possibility someone else had a good point worth considering. I think that any theory about what the Word means should be tested by the Word. And the longer it stands up to the test the more likely it is true. It should be done in the spirit that we are all open and want to find the truth. The problem with the Scriptures though is that it is not as exact as science and cannot be proven/disproved by experiment. We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us into the truth.
In that spirit let me point out a few things.

<<. But you are a precious part of the little flock, which has the task of
fighting against, and in the end conquering, the powerful force of the Antichrist.
I am forming you all, defending you and blessing you.">>

In Rev. 13:7 it says,"And it was given to him (anti-christ) to make war with the saints and overcome them; and authority over every tribe and tounge and nation was given to him."
If the saints are overcome they cannot be defeating the anti-christ. The Word clearly states Jesus will return and defeat him and all His enemies. Look at Rev. 19:19-20 And in Rev. 20: 1-3 an angel from heaven seizes the dragon (satan) and throws him into the abyss.

Come Lord Jesus,

Bob
