I called my Doctor yesterday and told her my temperature was 96.2 and had been falling over the past hour. She told me that was impossible, there must be something wrong with your thermometer. I said I just bought the thermometer from Walgreens. Why is it impossible that my temperature could be 96.2? She said I'd be dead if my temperature fell that low. I then said, is it possible that I am dead and not aware of it? She said, perhaps, I don't know? I then said I am only asking because you told me if my temperature fell to 96.2 I'd be dead and yet I don't think I'm dead and I'm sure my temperature fell to that level.

Fortunately for me, my temperature rose back to 98.6 about an hour later. It is nice to have an extra life, I suppose.
