Why should the US not like Russia not be above the law? Or, do you really believe, that the US unlike - "those brute Russians, from whom we expect anything anyway" should 'show good behaviour' by adhering to international law? 'tis better to be feared than loved or respected!' (my own Machiavelli contraction). I am not in any way a big Trump fan, but - besides much rather having Trump in office than that Hillary and the Clinton-clan alternative - this little piece of action measured by timing and quality, was an act of utter precision and genius. Credit of which may only indirectly go to Trump, since his pro advisors no doubt devised it for him. Smart like hell, agree or just deal with it!
