Although I did not hear the CEO speak, DJ news has reported
on what he said. You need a password so I won't give URL.
He stated that Orbi's core business of space system manufacturing
will sustain strong profitability, but its focus has gravitated
toward satellite networks. "Our major investments have been
in satellite networks that are going to enable global
messaging and paging at very low costs and global imaging."
"The demand we see for space infrastructure is really booming."
"we added $1.5 Billion to our longterm contract backlog
in the company's manufacturing sector last year alone and we
see no sign of that letting up for the forseeable future."
Fueled by global demand, he sees the $55 billion satellite
industry market growing another $8 billion or $10 billion
this year and continuing this pace into the next century.

Rather positive in outlook...probably accounting for most
of the rise today. Although there could be some short
covering. A short term buy I wouldn't think would cause the
stock to hit $32.75 at one point. Perhaps momentum investing?
