Originally, I thought it was just PDF files, but now I appears most of my files, including a bunch of innocuous ones, eg a doctors receipt, have been encrypted.... Yes, I have not done malware and virus scans, the first malware scans found 5 little things that they quickly quarantined....I find nothing now. All of the encryptions took place on the same day, ie 3-14-17. In checking what I downloaded that day I found only one thing..I responded to a popup that said I needed Adobe Flash Player and so downloaded and installed (I thought) Adobe Flash Player 25 NPAPI....I have dis installed it. And that's where I am now....
