I really appreciate all you guys do.....you've helped me in the past... With regard to the Adobe pop up....I have seen it in the past when I tried to view something from an online source and couldn't get it. I would get a popup that says "you need Flash player to view that source".......I am certain I downloaded Flashplayer in the past but would often fail to be able to see a video..when I searched and found I didn't have Flashplayer I downloaded it again. I am now suspicious that it fail to install in previous tries..
