Tavaras is loved immensely in NY. And it is primarily for his humility, strong character and very gentle personality. The man has never raised his voice in 8 seasons in NY. He is a Saint, a beautiful, devout soul.

You can be a great player in NYC and not be well liked. But Tavaras gets the white glove treatment in NYC all the time because of his soft spoken demeanor and humble character.
