I live in the extreme east end of Toronto ... the old strip along Kingston road for one is being redeveloped with huge amounts of infill housing small lots and town homes plus smaller apartment condos.. My own neighbourhood is being gentrified.. (existing original large lots, small to medium size homes) Small bungalows are all tear downs for McMansions Two on my street (about 30 homes) this winter alone. I have a mid sized so not a tear down.. but easily expandable ,,, Wynn government on the popularity ropes (deservedly so LOL) is looking at housing.. as is the mayor.. They are cognizant that more supply is needed ... not measures to crater market.. Rental is getting tight again too.. that happened when I first moved here .. We bought a town home for about 90K... even at 12% (YES 12 LOL) mortgage rate it was cheaper to carry than a rental !!!

More electric cars less gas stations LOL
