Dear Cell Watchers,

Strong again today! At least I didn't screw up as badly today!... and I was rewarded with two (lucky) flat trades, and three winners... two short and one long, interestingly enough, on such a strong day for CELL. Looks to me to be strong at the open again tomorrow, as it held quite strongly in spite of the market tanking. It also refrained from its usual final minutes dive!

There were quite a few large trades just after the close again. The bid was 17 7/8 and ask 17 15/16. Last trades were as follows:
33,500 shares at 18
3,000, 2,000 and 3,000 shares at 17 15/16
20,000, 10,000 and 15,000 shares at 17 7/8

Seems to me that a lot of institutions try to get in their big trades just at or after the close... so as to not reveal their hand. Hard to tell about the 17 7/8 trades... they could be either buys or sells.... I got hit on the bid for a couple of buys today... and even under the bid by three teenies once (lucky!!).

Good luck to all... sure wish I had those 3,000 shares at 14 and change! Oh well....

Ca

David G.,

I hope the 500,000 share trade I just saw at 16 5/16 was a typo. If not then that would explain the sharp selloff in CELL to 16 1/8 in a rather short time frame. If the trade was a sale, then obviously there was more than typical market pressure on the stock.
