Good Morning UE,

Thank you for that review.

I have no position in SMH but I have watched the index as it impacts my three semi stocks: Cohu, Brks and CY.

We've (John P and myself) been having a conversation that SMH was destined to now hit its 150 sma .

The semis will begin reporting earnings in earnest starting next week and smaller semi stocks will report April 26th through the first week of May.

The current price action has been downward going into the earnings period - a good thing if the specific stock beats and guides well. (down into earnings and a nice reversal can be seen many times

In EW view a large ABC down is followed by a reversing ABC up that usually does not reach where the first wave down began.

Semis have been really producing growth in shipments for certainly January and February - March #'s are not out yet.

I'm expecting earnings to be robust and reverse the decline that has been ongoing since the first of March.

Whether that ABC from March is all the decline we get or if it morphs into a bigger A and the anemic earnings pop response then becomes a bigger B (meaning we have a bigger longer negative structure to yet endure) is the crux of my review.

I really do like the structure of your review and must credit your continued help as being most instructive to my absorbing new views to utilize.

Very kind of you to respond so well - you never need to apologize for a negative read - that's what I was looking for - the straight read.

Thank You for your review!

Warmest regards

Bob
