Once Trump breaks the armistence with North Korea, South Korea will remain in a war until the US takes control of North Korea. It's going to be very costly and the occupation rebuilding a new society in North Korea will take a long time just like Iraq. The leadership of North Korea is not rational in any way you'd understand. Dear Leader will die before he surrenders and don't count on a coup. People there see their entire extended family sent to concentration camps if they disobey orders. Take out the top leadership out and it will collapse at some point - but you're going to be in for the long haul. Becoming the War President worked for George W Bush but trashed the American economy. Maybe that's the path Trump rides to popularity. Trump made the White House visitor log book secret as of today so the business and foreign interests involved in the coming wars will come as a surprise to everyone. Great fun.

Would you rather take a hands off approach like Obama had. Setting the stage for a North Korean Nuke land in LA. Not somewhere else but in your own metropolis. ? Bring it close to home. Make the decision personal. I don't believe he can, he must stay with the Establishment even though the chances of being nuked has been moving further than zero for years, if not now than a few years from now. It's the path of those who'll do anything for the Establishment, dead Reprobates, hate and guaranteed war.
