It's all over but for the fat lady (Rocky?) singing.

Went to Price Club today to buy 100 gallons of toothpaste.

For the first time, I saw that they were selling 10 pack Zip discs (for $99).

Counted 4000 discs. That's $40K of inventory. When they buy, they buy for several hundred Costco/Price Club stores. I don't know how many stores they have, but let's just say they have 200 nationwide. That's $8MM of inventory in a place where if they don't turn their inventory in a week, they're not interested in the product.

Oh yea, they also carry Zips and Jaz drives.

This is going to be one fantastic quarter.

** OT ** Jobs: I didn't think Jobs handled it wisely, but I thought
Francis might have found out more about the company instead of
pushing the CEO thingie once he realized he wasn't going to get
anywhere...

<<Niggerochi, have to disagree with you about the Jobs interview.
Bruce Francis was doing his job. It was Jobs that wasn't doing his.

No other CEO in America would have reacted that poorly in a venue that reaches millions of investors.>>

According to Francis, it is against CNBC policy to conduct an interview under any restriction. Now, if Jobs new this, do you really think he would have gone ahead with the interview? My take on this is Bruce Francis was very aware of what was about to take place and had this whole thing planned. Here's a CEO of a multi-billion company taking crap from a low life reporter? I think not. The internal affairs along with sensetive issues is not open for everyone. I don't think Jobs reacted poorly. It would have been nice to see him deck Francis, kind of like Jim Everett did a while back. Francis would think twice before embbarassing another person on live TV.

<<Maybe that's why the stock sucks>>

It closed up $3.
