But if it were, it would be far more damaging to Democrats trying to maintain their office than it would presidents. And I guarantee you if it is passed for Presidents, there are going to be a ton of Democrat legislators who become subject to it themselves. Keep in mind, Democrats tend to have been elected on the basis of their ill-gotten gains, all around the country. You don't see that often with Republicans. I think whatever they want to do it okay with me.

Krauthammer on Trump’s Tax Returns:
This Issue Is a ‘Dead Parrot’

On Fox’s Special Report tonight, Charles Krauthammer said the issue of President Trump‘s tax returns is basically a “dead parrot.” Bret Baier brought up the Tax Day protests where people were demanding the returns, as well as the president’s response to them. Mara Liasson said Trump could put out his returns if he wanted to, though as Mollie Hemingway pointed out, as president, Trump’s tax returns are audited every year. When Baier asked Krauthammer if there’s any way Trump will release the returns, Krauthammer said, “Never. This issue is dead. It’s a dead parrot.” Or perhaps it’s just pining for the fjords?
