Petz,, there are some "rumors" floating around that Intel recently might have purchased some patents from IBM that (when coupled with the new Slot 1 technology) will allow Intel's cacheless PII solid entry into the sub-$1000 PC market. Don't have any specifics. I was just directed to this page.
