After making a string of empty boasts worthy of boy dictator Kim Jung-Un, poor Donald Trump has discovered he's not in a position to accelerate preparations for an eventual attack on North Korea so Trump is going to hit North Korea with "The Big Nothing".

President Obama's previous deployment of the THAAD system in Guam in April 2013 had nothing to do with President Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-hye's agreement last February to install THAAD in South Korea by the end of 2017, apart from the fact it gave the South Korean press a nearby installation to report on to try to win over the South Korean public.

Since President Park Geun-hye has been impeached there is concern that her replacement may decide to cancel the THAAD installation. South Korea's military still wants to develop their own system rather than deploy THAAD.

Outside of US territories, THAAD is also deployed in Turkey in 2012 the United Arab Emirates which graduated their first UAE troops trained in THAAD in 2015. The US operated THAAD components in Israel are the only military installations in Israel not under Israeli control.

US policy toward North Korea proceeds on the same multi-track solutions since Bill Clinton was President when our military estimated one million casualties in a strike on North Korea. But since that time we have been moving ever closer to that military strike as North Korea's missile and nuclear program continues to proceed.

Donald Trump and his imbecile supporters are slowly getting up to speed on our government's policy on North Korea, just as you and he are in a steep learning curve on every other aspect of our government and legal system.

Once Trump learns how to count votes in Congress, he may actually begin to craft legislation which has a possibility of passage. Trump and his Trumpettes had better learn fast though, because the Tea Party "Freedom Caucus" is going to shut down Trump's government on April 29, less than two weeks away.
