Professor/Senator Warren does not have the necessary and considerable moderate segment of the Dems. The Warren Buffet wing.

Remember, average people today have no pension other than SS and do not want to see Wall Street "occupied" while their savings, IRAs (and dreams of retirement) are there. Just a well regulated and transparent Wall Street without insider advantages. For Elizabeth Warren to appeal to the broader left and moderates, she would give up the ideological activist left.

I know "activists" who turned against her for being a Democrat and supporting the party.

The better coalition is one that bridges the Democratic left and the "moderates." Someone who can do both and retain the passions of both. No doubt many will try. We can only wait and see who emerges as most capable. Let's hope Cuomo doesn't do well.

I would say the next generation of tiger Democrats, like Kamala Harris fer' instance, will get more done, standing on the shoulders of FDR and (our?) imperfect left dreamers like Warren, or Sanders, or the late Kennedy's and Dr. MLK.

The baby boomers like Warren, Schumer and 75 year old Bernie have to hand off the power and wisdom; and hard lessons we learned.

A new generation who has the benefit of knowing our history of successes and failures is upon us.
