Adam, re There's just too many negative earnings forthcoming in the 1st Q for the techs. I would hope that most of the negative earnings are out already. This is a heaven-sent opportunity for a company which is doing poorly to make an announcement and say "We wuz doen reel gud, an them Azhuns dun us in." Seriously, IMO any company with sales or revenue weakness and Asian exposure should have pre-announced. Either straight forward, "We did not execute." or pointing the blame elsewhere (Asian problems, el nino, locusts, etc). However, we are experiencing one of the most solid economies ever, and I would not anticipate many more announcements than usual. regards, 3
