Toronto is going to be good team over the next few years. I still kind of doubt they will beat the Caps here, but their future is bright.

As for Montreal, I realize that the Canadians did not buy their Stanley Cups like the Yankees bought their championships in the late 70s and late 90s. But that's beside the point. Montreal has won more Cups than any other team by far. I realize this was the result of a great organization that develops and drafts players at a high level. Still, I'd like to see the wealth of the NHL come down to the less fortunate teams that haven't won a Cup yet, such as Washington, Buffalo, Winnepeg, Predators, Blues, Wild, Vancouver, Sharks.

My allegiance is always to the "have nots" not just in the social/political realm, but also in the athletic/sports realm. Sure, I want my team, the Isles to win. But if they can't win, I want a team that has never won the ultimate prize to win.
