Your perceived problem is income inequality You do know that this problem has been discussed for thousands of years? Aristotle weighed in on this issue. He saw it as a danger to a democracy. Even Machiavelli thought it was unsustainable for any length of time, although he was concerned about wealth inequality among the upper classes. So it isn't a new problem that we, as a species has never encountered before. History has shown that it leads to instability.

Income redistribution has been used for a long time. That is what the progressive tax system is, minimum wage, housing, welfare, food stamps, social security and Medicaid, which pulled millions of old people out of abject poverty in the 30's. FDR's WPA programs and involves virtually all aspects of the social system. And it requires analyzing all the branches of social science from economics to social science, to psychology, philosophy, etc. Yes, I took decision theory in college. One must figure stuff out but it is best if it is based on learning. A doctor figures out if you are healthy, but not without going to medical school. It is required by law. I play poker.
