Russia has always been playing chicken. The only difference is when a Repub is in office CNN/MSNBC bring it up. If its a Dem then Fox brings it up. Its really a yawn. Russia flew 50 miles off the California coast in 2014. If you google you can see this goes on all the time. Russia since the fall of the Soviet Union wants everyone to continue to looking on them as powerful and the only way to do that is to always remind people they are a Nuclear Power with their own triad. On the North Korean issue that one is definitely different and also should present a warning to the world regarding Irans nuclear ambitions. We had a deal before where NK was supposed to stop development and never get nuclear weapons. Fast forward well they have them so diplomacy failed. I think presently the US, our allies and China are deciding whether to act now to prevent them from building a delivery vehicle that actually works. It is a mess like kicking a can down a hill and then realizing you can't catch it because you waited too long.
