That's more a reflection on you and the company you keep.

I know of no similar cases resulting from false charges among the thousands of corporate co-workers I've had over the years.

In the cases I'm aware of where people were fired, HR proceeded very cautiously, investigated thoroughly, and made the determination based on their investigation.

In each case, most of us were relieved to see the person go, not just those who had been subject to direct harassment.

O'Reilly was a dick to people across all walks of life for decades.

Did the "good men" you know sometimes act like this?

I had a nearly 40 year career in business and can't think of any careers ruined over false charges. I can think of only a couple of examples of unwelcome sexual advances and the men involved weren't ruined.

OTOH I know of a woman in my hometown that made false complaints everywhere she worked and it became impossible for her to get a job in the town. She also liked to sue businesses over fake slip and fall and other bogus injuries. She had better luck getting small settlements from these charges. I know as a cousin of mine married her and the whole family shared stories about her. She ruined my cousin's life.
