yep, I did that, and according to TT I don't get a refund... but I'm still going to call IN Gov back and see what other answers I get

I found it really interesting the IN state tax rep claimed that CA is basically "on the FED dole"... what a pinhead

btw, I also called the IRS to try to get a specific answer... I actually got a real person on the line and explained my tax question... I did this more than once... each time the person said "okay i understand your question and i'm going to transfer you to the dept that will answer your question"... each time the call was transferred it was to a recording that said "We no longer service that question"... and the ph disconnected... what a fucking joke
