(WKRN) – A man died after he was injured during a shootout at a Bordeaux shop late Thursday night. It happened inside retailer Hot Kicks, located in a strip mall at 3101 Clarksville Pike, around 11 p.m. Metro police told News 2 a group of people were inside the store when at least three armed suspects came in through an unlocked back door and began firing. One of the people in the store returned fire, while others took off running, according to police. Metro police said officers found one man near the back door with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the hospital. According to police, two other alleged suspects later showed up at TriStar Centennial Medical Center with gunshot wounds. At least one of them is in critical condition. Detectives believe none of the people inside the store at the time were injured during the shootout. wkrn.com

Tacoma Burglar Dies After Attacking Home Owner Tacoma homeowner shoots burglar during home invasion POSTED 9:10 AM, APRIL 15, 2017, BY Q13 NEWS STAFF, UPDATED AT 06:49PM, APRIL 15, 2017 Pierce Co. Sherrif's Department photo The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a homeowner shot and killed a burglar during a break-in early Saturday morning in Tacoma. According to Detective Ed Troyer, the homeowner heard someone breaking into house around 3:30 a.m. and quickly grabbed a gun. The homeowner then confronted the burglar and the two got into a fight. During the fight the homeowner shot the burglar once, killing him instantly. A neighbor heard the shooting and called law enforcement. Deputies say the homeowner has been cooperating with their investigation.
