The wise person uses the experts they have at hand to guide them. The wise person looks before he leaps. I have never seen an estimate of what it would cost to fund college educations for everyone let alone an analysis of the externalities of such a system change. You'd think that, with all the yammering about free college, someone would have come up with numbers. No, actually you wouldn't think that. Because your economists know that the numbers would blow everyone's minds. Shame on populist politicians who get their bases all exercised over things that either haven't been thought through or are deceitful. And shame on those voters who latch onto political dream spinning and look no further.
