I'm hoping it's at $100M. WTF needs $1B, except for bragging rights?

Sociopaths never have enough. Not that all very wealthy people are sociopaths, but what else can drive someone to go to great lengths to expand their wealth beyond a certain level? To the point where you ruin other peoples lives and even result in them being permanently injured or killed?

It is all that makes sense.

That's not rational. If we tax $1B at,, say, 35%, we yield 350M towards some welfare program. There is no rate at which we could yield that much tax money from an income of only $100M. Is your distaste for billionaires so great that your satisfaction is worth all those benefits for all those people? That's a rhetorical question.
