We have just had the wettest year I can remember. Water is again abundant and surplus.

Even during the drought, we produced wine, wine, wine.

Non-alcohol drinkers on the coast can bathe in the Pacific Ocean.

We can "manufacture" water with solar power, or other energy.

We can export our beautiful California organic urine to Nevada and Arizona for conversion to their drinking water.

Just a few sarcastic ideas.

"What will the farmers who use something like 80-90% of the water in CA do?"
What do most of them do now?

The Imperial Valley gets water from the Colorado. The rest of the farmers use water from the Sierras.

"What will be used to grow the grapes that make the wine that you will be happy to drink?"
What's used now? The Russian and the Napa Rivers. Don't let the name fool ya; the Russian is home-grown.
The wine you just drink, as opposed to the wine you are happy to drink, comes from the Valley; Sierra water.
