What is so crazy is the Trump voters have romanticized the grand collapse. They think that bringing everybody down will make their lives better. They see it as revenge. What they haven't figured out is that if we have a grand collapse then we have a Great Depression.

And I'm old enough that I remember the stories of the Great Depression and it was horrific.

I think that is what the strategy is though. Just bring it all down and they can watch the suffering of the "elite liberals" and don't have to envy people that have done better than them.

What they don't understand is that the people that did better than them will at least have food and shelter and they most likely won't.

In a great depression it is the poor who suffer the most..

If Trump gets his way things like health insurance, welfare and food stamps will be gone and in a great depression that takes us back to soup kitchens and shanty town we saw during the great depression and little work.
