Speaking of flooded golf courses,

Trump International Golf Links Ireland recently applied for a permit to build a seawall to minimize the effects of rising sea levels “as a result of global warming” on its Doonbeg golf course. Though Donald Trump has been a very vocal on his belief that climate change is a “hoax”, the verbiage used in the application might provide a temporary self-serving shift in his stance. Trump’s golf course property runs along two-and-a-half miles of the Atlantic Coast and has suffered significant damage from frequent extreme storms and rising sea levels. Trump was denied approval from the national government on building a wall to protect the course from rising sea levels and is willing to spend $45 million euros to save the golf course. Nik Zecevic and Margaret J. Howell take a look at Trump’s stance on climate change on the Lip News.

Not this spring though. You and I will be long gone.
