Sam: I commend You. The question You ask is the best I have seen to date on this thread!

In reality, sam, the answer is irrelevant. The FACT is that I bought shares, making me a shareholder, and I still own them.

I do not ask anyone else why they bought shares in any company, but I will answer your question. ONE of the reasons that I bought shares in Oilex is that, because of my status as a shareholder, management would have the duty to answer reasonable questions pertaining to my investment.

Remember, in the State of Texas, the rights of a shareholder to inspect the books of a corporation are governed by Article 2.44 of the Texas Business Corporation Act. A shareholder of at least 6 MONTHS is entitled to inspect the corporation's records upon written demand to the corporation. Any corporation that refuses to allow such shareholder to examine the books and records shall be liable to the shareholder for all costs and expenses including attorney's fees incurred in enforcing the shareholder's rights under this Article.

I have sought to have my proper and relevant questions answered without resorting to Article 2.44. However, as management has refused to even accept my certified mail, much less answer my questions, I still retain the option of using Article 2.44 to get answers to questions to which I am entitled as a shareholder of at least 6 months.

I believe that the questions that I ask are pertinent and relevant to the interests of all of the shareholders of Oilex. Instead of asking me why I am a shareholder of Oilex, you might ask yourself (and the management of the company) why the "Management of Oilex" refuses to answer these questions.
