We have been a plutocratic oligarchy for a couple of decades i.e when the rich have too much power over us.

Ironically that is what Obama ran on ie. changing it and then he didn't.

That is what Bernie ran on and he would have done it and so would Warren.

A plutocratic oligarchy is nothing more than the rich having all the power to do whatever they want and what they want e.g. the huge tax cuts for the rich Raygun, bush and now trump made. Those hurt us and were unfair to us.

You tell me ANY time in history when a society ruled by the rich took care of the worker and poor. good luck

This is a period like the Gilded age and after the great depression when the rich stole as much as they could and ran rough shod over the rest of us. And so the people voted in Teddy Roosevelt and FDR to take them apart and they did.

Obama didn't, so the dems are still trying. Listen to this 3 minute speech by FDR it says it all!
