The reason I said 22 1/2, there are alot of short interest in aapl, last
I checked is around 20% + of the total outstanding shares, and I'm pretty
sure they have been shorted the last couple of months between 17 - 23
range. If apple gaps in the morning, it might trigger shorts to cover,
driving up the prices in addition to late comers who wants to buy in on
the news. Maybe a few upgrades by the analysts can also do the trick.

Anyways, it is a little optimistic, but you can't blame me when I'm holding
couple K of aapl that I bought today :) Quick profits and run with the
money is my style :) Therefore I'm hoping for a quick run, and then I can
accumlate later if I choose to :)

Regards

You don't factor in the possibility of upgrades and their influence on AAPL's stock action. When could we expect to see those upgrades ? Would they wait for actual eanrings numbers first ?

Also, overnight looks like Japan market on upbeat note. It isn't that far from its 52-week high. So maybe that could fuel a tech rally Wed ?

Thanks
