Yes, he died in early 2016. He stopped posting and some of the usual clowns and fellow travelers were wondering where he was. It took me a minute to find an online obituary of him which I pm'ed to koan so he could pass along the news. Member 64628 He was a real hoot, angry at republicans, success and capitalism and "greed" in general all the while he had gambled away his life savings in a single Canadian mining penny stock. He bought high and rode it into the ground. The full story is even worse than that and amusing in a schadenfreude sense but at heart a cautionary tale about human stupidity being an unbounded function and the power of self-delusion and pretense to knowledge leading to absolutely ruinous outcomes!
