No of course you would not know why one who is in an English speaking country should find a need to defend his mother in a language he does not need to know there. Perhaps you might have diplomatically spoke to them in loud English and they would understand. You did insult me. As a matter of fact, I took your first paragraphs seriously. Yet you destroyed any memory of them with your last. You and I both communicate in English. Your inference that I could defuse the humiliation of an old woman by a group of people who pretended they did not speak the language is preposterous. If they did not have parents who could instill in them a respect for elderly people why should I treat them with any respect? As far as your tour of the world and your disdain for American tourists it matters very little to me that you hate us so much.
