My folks began recycling around the time of the first Earth Day, and I started doing it when I had my own place. Been trying to plant trees every year since I bought this place. Went solar in '06. " I hope you live to see just how foolish you have been." I've lived long enuf to be able to see the hills across SF Bay about 4 days out of 5, instead of 1 out of 5, the situation before we passed clean air legislation.
