Do you accept the navy's assertion that CO2 from human emissions will kill, if you are trapped in a submarine? On a global level, the problem is the warming caused by CO2, not the CO2 itself. We—physicians in medical societies representing over half of the nation’s doctors—see a need to share our growing understanding and concern about the health consequences of climate change with all Americans.
