<<How does this work? You have another ISP and connect to AOL via that
ISP?>>

I started doing this with Compuserve when I moved to an area with only the $0.10/minute 800 number access. I now pay $4.95 per month for three hours access to CIS (about all I ever use these days) and my monthly ISP fee. I open MacCIM and dial up the ISP, the TCP/IP software takes over and connects me through the internet "gateway" to CIS. I could go the other way and use CIS as my access provider to the internet but it is much slower and costs more.

I also have the "Bring your own access". My total cost for unlimited AOL access is $4.95/month (I answered a pop up ad during the time of endless busy signals). 4.95 is all AOL gets from me each month.

<<< Ron or anyone else that can elaborate,
You said: "I use the TCP/IP connection or "Bring your own access" as it is called at AOL. So I get unlimited for $9.95 a month.>>>

Wayde: Yes, I have an ISP and also AOL. When I connect to AOL It is through the ISP. I am not sure what you mean "AOL Subscriber Content". I still use AOL software but it connects over the internet as opposed to dialing into a modem. The connection is faster and less disconnects. I seldom visit AOL but my daughter is on it all the time.
