I dug up some analyst reports on the deal and they are all over the place, e.g. TD as them as Buy w target $8.50, BMO Market Perform w target $4.50, and Canaccord Buy w target $10.

The Canaccord report made one interesting point, that if this deal works out the way SSL wants it to, it opens up a new route to financing for juniors with advanced projects, which happens to make up the bulk of my pf right now.
