"The only reason I went to school was to learn about the world and my existence. I never bought the party line!" I went to school because my father both expected it and taught me that it was a method to rise economically and he didn't want me to be mechanic like him or a welder like his father. But I have many friends that took loans to chase their passion, loans that never should have been given for 'soft' degrees from private schools with outlandish tuitions that they will be paying on long after they have retired.
