Rich Millennials Duped Into Paying $12,000 For Bogus ‘Exotic’ Music Festival

Fyre Festival, an exotic music festival held on a deserted island in the Bahamas, has apparently turned out to be a scam. The supermodel-backed festival had promised to be “the best in food, art, music and adventure,” but instead turned out to be the exact opposite.

With scores of terrified rich kids stranded in an airport, the festival did not meet expectations.

Tickets for the experience cost up to $12,000 with a no refund policy.

Due to this, social media exploded with pictures and comments on the festival. Half-erected tents, barely any food, feral dogs, violent locals, thieves, and muggers were the main, and only, attractions of the festival. ...
