I took Lynch's advice with a drug company. I broke my leg windsurfing and requested a non narcotic pain reliever for recovering from surgery. It worked great! I was dating a woman who worked at the company as a chemist who was working on the drug and had great things to say about it. It looked like a real winner! BOTH my Dr and I bought it hoping for great things. Long story short.... The druggies in the emergency rooms told everyone they were alergic to it so they'd get morphine. It was and is alot easier to prescribe morphine so......it never caught on big and the company lost half its value when the sales didn't replace the sales for a drug that was losing its patent so the Co was bought by Roshe for about $0.75 on the dollar of what I paid. Not a bad loss, but there are no sure things.

Somehow, it sure feels like UTEK is going this way......Lets hope not!

Sorry, I was just being ornery. I completely agree with your position on Rain Forest Cafe.

"But restaurant chain operator Rain Forest Caf‚ (RAIN) fared even worse, losing 12-15/16, or more than 42 percent of its value, to 17-13/16 after admitting that fourth-quarter earnings would come in below Wall Street expectations."
