I'm sure a lawyer would be happy to take his money. The problem would be proving damages. Shepard would also expose himself to being sued by the defendant.

All 47,972 posts of Shepard since December 15, 2000 and all 6,203 posts of WHATSONYOUTH since July 2, 1999 would be called into evidence.

It would be quite the sight to see the legal secretaries arriving at court every morning with wheel-barrows full of bound volumes of SI posts. Every post would need to be scrutinized in agonisng detail and months would be required for examinations.

It would be like the Scopes Monkey Trial all over again.
