Meathead,
Hi!! THANKS......<<<<Considering Dell was a 500M company in 1991, the represents a decelleration in the growth rate from triple digits to a more sustainable 35% Y/Y.>>>>>>>
And, may I add....I don't imagine many should be reluctant to own a corporation with growth year to year like that...
Once again your organized and clearly explained posts are a breath of fresh air to this thread...and on top of that...I'm learning...thanks again!!
Best, Kemble

I still feel the numbers are on target and Dell will
post revenues of 30B - 35B and own between 12% to 14% of the
market in 2001. All they have to do is continue to execute.

Meathead, Your assumption here is that the PC market continues to grow at the rate that it has been growing.
People made the same predictions about the $150B semiconductor market. The only problem is that lower ASP / unit hit and 2 years latter the semiconductor market is still $150 Billion. With the trend in this Sub-Zero PC sector, it is highly posible that PC revenue does not grow very much over the next 2-3 years.
