I don't think Cyrix is making any. There may be some in the inventory from Cyrix Q3 97. Their prices have been written down. They are not competitive at current process.

They will probably be reintroduced at .25u and probably they will be made by TSMC.

And why is IBM FINALLY giving Cyrix access to its state of the art production capacity? They've never done it before; why are they doing it now?

Cyrix has a choice now. Maybe IBM wants to keep the business.

Media GX chips may be used to invade the last uncontested computer market segment: Corporate America.

I think it would have to be done by Compaq. No one else has guts to do something like that.
