Russell re << it appears that this news was a tightly, uncapitalized on secret >> I agree that the AAPL news announcement was largely unknown, although in retrospect there was a 'little action' in the price and volume during the previous couple of days. The problem with earnings announcements from AAPL is I don't really trust them ... They are likely to turn around and take a big charge in the next quarter. How's the weather in hogtown? This freezing rain is driving me nuts. After my 15 hours of electrical outage yesterday, my phones were both out all this morning ... No internet and no broker ... Hard to trade the market with all these obstacles. And more freezing rain on the way. :-(( John
