Trump history: Trump says the far-seeing founder of the Democratic party could've have prevented the war the first Republican President let happen.

Jackson had heart and was angry about the Civil War 16 years before it happened. Are you all angry about what's going to go down in 2032? Well, if you had Jackson's heart and wisdom you would be.

Bannon told Trump he was like Jackson ... thus the Jackson bullshit ....

Here's the truth about Jackson.

Jackson nominated Roger Taney to the Supreme Court. Taney had earlier been Jackson's AG and Sec. of State. Taney wrote the Dred Scott decision that struck down the Missouri Compromise and extended slavery into ALL US territories. Taney said that neither free nor enslaved blacks were citizens and had "no rights a white man was bound to respect." Taney said that when the Constitution was written no state allowed black citizenship or any rights but that was a lie. Some states did.

Dred Scott had been a slave owned by an army surgeon who took him with him when he traveled to serve at army posts in IL and WI. Scott claimed his years of residence in free states and territories made him a free man. Under Taney's decision a slave owner could move to the north, take his slaves with him and keep them in bondage there. It would have made the entire US a slave nation.

Jackson once said in re to emancipation that he'd lock his slaves in his barn and burn it down before he let them be set free. Jackson would've been a leader of the Confederacy had he lived long enough.

As for Trump, the GOP chose an ignorant Cliff Clavan as their Presidential candidate.

Jackson's heart - notice Jackson's ad for return of a runaway slave offered $10 extra for each 100 lashes the capturers gave him.

Brumar,
Trump won because Hillary is awful. She would have been awful regardless of her opponent. Any Repub would have beaten her.
I'm not so sure about that. No one saw Trump's victory coming because he ran such an unconventional campaign.

Every other GOP candidate would have ran a predictably conventional campaign and would have been vulnerable to every single flaming arrow from the media and the SJWs.

That's how Romney's campaign tanked. He would have otherwise been a very good president.
